About Sarah Sarah Tincher Bowen is a junior at Southeastern Baptist College in Wake Forest, NC. In 2009, she married Jackson Bowen, who is also a junior at Southeastern. Sarah and Jackson are members at Tabernacle Baptist Church. In high school, Sarah was a leader in her high school's chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and was involved in other organizations. She was also a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church's 20-member Transition Team. Her interests include playing the guitar and singing Christian songs. She periodically conducts a Bible class for teen girls, is active in an organization that ministers to middle school students, and attends two outside (of school) Bible studies. She insisted on writing about her faith. Her article was entitled, "Search for a purpose in life helps Leesville student find her place." - 06-2007 __________ Sarah accompanied Steve Matheny in presenting a musical, Bible scripture and accompanying text program at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Raleigh on North Carolina 12-20-06. Steve is an extremely talented, volunteer organist at Tabernacle Baptist Church and is an attorney with the U.S. Attorney's office.
